Rosie Explores Manufacturing with the Girl Scouts

With over 600 kits delivered to Florida’s Girl Scouts, our Rosie Explores Manufacturing initiative has been a resounding success. Troop leaders are unanimous in their feedback: 100% surveyed shared that their Scouts thoroughly enjoyed the activities. These kits not only introduce girls to manufacturing careers but also bolster critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Encouraged by this positive reception and determined to broaden our impact, we’re excited to extend this program to Alabama and Massachusetts. Making Music to Discover Careers in ProAV

Through our partnership with the ProAV industry, Rosie Riveters has brought the science of sound to life for over 3,000 students across six states. Our collaborative program allows students to build their own harmonicas, engaging them in a fun, hands-on lesson on sound waves. With the support of ProAV partners, we’ve equipped young minds with the tools to explore acoustics, while fostering an inclusive environment that encourages all students to dive into STEM. This initiative not only amplifies the joy of learning but also showcases the impact of creative collaborations in expanding STEM education.

CASE STUDY: A Rosie Innovators’ innovative STEM project inspires students in her community.

As part of the Rosie Innovators STEM program, Emma created a hands-on pulley project inspired by her love of mechanical engineering. Designed for elementary students to complete in under 5 minutes, the project was so successful that Rosie Riveters licensed and adapted it for 3rd grade, aligning with Virginia’s science standards on Simple Machines. It even made its way to Emma’s former elementary school!
