Rosie Riveters today announced a $75,000 contribution from Honda to support 3,000 Rosie Explores Manufacturing Kits in Colorado, Texas, Florida, and Northern Virginia. The contribution will help advance the organization’s work to strengthen the manufacturing talent pipeline.
“This investment from Honda allows us to reach thousands of students with hands-on experiences that make manufacturing and engineering feel accessible, creative, and relevant,” said Brittany Greer, Founder and Executive Director of Rosie Riveters. “By engaging students early with real-world tools and concepts, we’re helping build confidence, spark curiosity, and open doors to future careers in modern manufacturing.”
Honda’s support will expand access to Rosie Riveters’ Rosie Explores Manufacturing program, delivering hands-on STEM kits that include all materials needed for complete projects, along with career connections and science-based learning. Students engage in activities such as building biomechanical hands, creating LED circuitry projects, and exploring systems thinking through guided design challenges. The funding also supports program coordination, partner training, and community engagement, ensuring high-quality implementation and meaningful impact in communities where Honda associates live and work.
Honda is committed to empowering young people by prioritizing education and career readiness, fostering the creativity and innovation needed to solve tomorrow’s challenges. Through its Education pillar, Honda supports programs that inspire the next generation and create opportunities for them to succeed.
